Atlantic Fellow in Social and Economic Equity
In 2017, Melanie was awarded the prestigious, lifelong Atlantic Fellowship in Social and Economic Equity at the London School of Economics. Melanie has focused her fellowship experience studying Black women’s intersectional leadership across the global philanthropic sector.

The Atlantic Fellows for Social and Economic Equity program, based at the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science, is building a catalytic, values-led global community of people who are committed to using collective leadership to work towards social and economic justice for all.
